Our Curriculum and Programs

Our program is based on the Creative Curriculum, complemented by our emphasis on literacy with the use of the “ELLM PLUS” Curricula for our prek-3 and prek-4 program as well as “Foundations for Success” Curricula for our infant and toddler programs. What makes our programs unique is the combination of the curriculums mentioned above along with our Ivy League Academy team best practices aligned with Florida Birth to Three Learning and Developmental Standards, the requirements of the Infant Toddler Environmental Rating Scale, Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale, Sunshine State Standards, Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Standards, Florida School, Readiness Performance Standards, and Head Start Performance Standards.

Our programs are tailored for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school age children. We are known as a high quality program, among other reasons, because of our teachers’ work. The work of Ivy League Academy teachers is a work of art with life messages and a mission for your child. Our teaching style implements both teacher-directed and child-initiated learning. We start our day with our circle time and teaching tables where teacher-directed activities are in place; followed by our learning center time when child-initiated learning happens.

The right combination of a great environment and special selected educational materials, real life objects and age appropriate educational activities allows each child at Ivy League Academy to learn by using the senses and not just by memory.

We are dynamic, motivated and motivating, professional, creative, flexible and fun…. Our art project experiences intertwine visual arts with timeless arts of music, poetry and drama while our science projects always become an adventure while investigation is going on. All of these experiences ignite desire in our students to love learning.
